SNOW!! So much snow! We have certainly gotten our first real dose of the white stuff. First snow arrived on Halloween. It was fun getting to watch it snow and cover the ground. That snow melted within about 30 minutes, but it was so pretty for those 30 minutes. Now, we’ve gotten more snow than we know what to do with!
I know, I know, I know. I’ve been slacking on writing a new post! In my defense, we have been busy lately. It seems like we are always busy these days. I feel like I have to fit in a lot of activities before the winter weather arrives. Mainly because I am terrified to drive in the snow. Give me tropical storm force winds, no problem. Just thinking about driving on snow and ice makes me nervous. SARRETT NATURE CENTER
We’ve been VERY busy this past week. Warning: I did not realize how long this post would be. I’ll be surprised if anyone other than our mothers make it all the way to the end.

That means I was desperately trying to get boxes unpacked and every thing organized an entire week than I had planned.
I really meant to write something sooner, but we’ve been busy. After having my moving breakdown, I decided that we needed to have some fun so I focused on that this week. Then, I got…
We are officially in Michigan! There are days that it doesn’t feel like it’s real. Then I need to run to Target for something and I can get there in less than 5 minutes and there’s no traffic. I’m definitely not in NOLA anymore!
This is my first blog post and I honestly have no idea where to begin. I haven’t even come up with what I want for my “About Me” blurb. (My hubby keeps bugging me about that. And that I should write a first post.) He has been great about getting this…
“Nomading” is a word that will be used on this blog to refer to much of what we do that is related to moving, transitioning, adjusting to different cultures, and all other things of that sort that are involved in moving from place to place and adjusting to new environments.
